Mission Statement
Our mission is to come alongside Christian parents to instruct and nurture covenant children with a Protestant Reformed, Biblical perspective, seeking the transformation of hearts, minds, and hands which sincerely desire truth, wisdom, service, and ultimately the glory of God.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” —Romans 12:2.
Coming Alongside Christian Parents: It is first the duty of parents to train up their children in the fear of the Lord. Our school is an extension of the home, where teachers stand in the place of parents during the day, assuming parental authority but also working closely with parents to assist in this high calling of instruction and nurture.
A Protestant Reformed, Biblical Perspective: It is the aim of our teachers to direct children to understand and view all creation through the lens of Scripture as interpreted by our reformed confessions: Heidelberg Catechism, the Canons of Dordrecht, and the Belgic Confession.
Seeking Transformation: As we faithfully teach, equip, and nurture our covenant children from a Biblical perspective, we anticipate the Holy Spirit to daily transform their hearts, minds, and hands to become renewed disciples of Christ.
Truth: One main result of this education is the acquisition of true knowledge from Scripture and from all creation.
Wisdom: Another main result of this education is the utilization of that knowledge to do God’s will instead of man’s will.
Service: A main application of this wisdom is every student’s vocation to faithfully and skillfully serve his/her neighbor with the knowledge, wisdom and talents received.
Worship and the Glory of God: The ultimate goal of all our work is the glory of our Sovereign Father and Friend—not our own.
