Junior Helpers
By Gina Verburg

This year we, the juniors, will sponsor the first annual junior-senior banquet of Heritage Christian High. While many of us are wondering where it will be held and what it will be like, the junior class is working out
a different situation–how we will pay for this banquet.
After we discussed many different options it was brought to our attention that help was needed on hot lunch days. We accepted the job to set up, take people’s money, and prepare desserts.
The ladies who volunteer to make the hot lunches take money out of the profits to pay for the supplies, but the rest goes to the junior class. In addition to helping out with hot lunch, we also get a chance to brush up on our math and people skills!
As we earn more money each week, the junior class, with the guidance of Mr. Van Uffelen, makes additional plans concerning the banquet. They are, however, extremely confidential!
