Mothers: Our Hot Lunch Program needs your help! We have one lunch (hotdogs) for which we need a cook. We also need to fill twenty-nine helper positions. This year the helper will not bring a dessert. The junior class will take care of the desserts this year. Please call Jan Huisenga 339-1733 (Mon., Wed., or Thurs.) Thank you!
Milk: Students may purchase white or chocolate milk for lunch. The cost is $30.00 for the year. Please pay in the office.
Students: Please check the condition of your Psalter. If your Psalter is falling apart, you have two options. You may have your Psalter rebound; the price is $10.00. Or you may purchase a new Psalter from the office; the price is $12.00.
HCHS’s Yearbook, The Sword & Shield, is now available for $10.00. Thank you for your support, the monies will go towards the cost of producing our 2003-2004 yearbook.
Books: Students are required to purchase the following books.
· Spanish I: Spanish Dictionary - $4.50 & Workbook - $8.00
· Accounting I: Accounting Workbook - $15.00.
· English III: The Scarlet Letter - $6.00.
· Sophomores: Writers Inc. (hard cover) - $18.50.
· Juniors & Seniors: Writers Inc. (soft cover) used $15.00 or new $17.50.
Hard covers will be available on a first come first
basis, cost is $18.50.

COVENANT CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL/DEMOTTE
1. Go East on I-94 to Indiana.
2. Take the I-65 exit (exit 11) South toward Indianapolis.
3. Go South on I-65 to Indiana SR-2 (Exit 240).
4. Go Left (east) on SR-2 to US-231 (flashing red light).
5. Go Right (south) on US-231 into DeMotte.
6. Go through the town of DeMotte.
7. Don’t go around the curve. Go straight to the 4-way stop, 15th Street.
8. Turn right on 15th Street.
9. Covenant Christian High School is on the left.

ILLINOIS LUTHERAN/CRETE
1. Take 394 south to Exchange, turn right (west).
2. Go into town to Route 1 (traffic light), turn left (south).
3. Go about 4-5 blocks, turn right into Zion Lutheran Church.
4. The school is behind the church. We may park anywhere.

LUTHER EAST/LANSING
1. Glenwood-Lansing Road next to Vander Griend’s Farmstand.
2. Between Torrence & Burnham.

PORTAGE CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL
1. 94 East to Portage Exit South (exit 19).
2. That becomes Willow Creek Road.
3. Go over the curving bridge that spans 2 sets of railroad tracks.
4. Go over the second bridge that spans the toll road.
5. At the bottom of that bridge, take an immediate right onto Evergreen Ave.
6. The gym is in the Portage Boys’ & Girls’ Club on the left side of the road.

CLIFFORD PIERCE MIDDLE SCHOOL
1. Take 80/94 to I-65 South
2. Take the 61st St. exit off I-65.
3. Go west on 61st and turn left onto Broadway at the light.
4. Go approx. 1 ½ miles and turn left onto 70th Ave. (1st street past the Dairy Queen)
5. Turn right onto Catherine St.
6. Go past the main entrance to the south parking lot.
7. Enter at south doors.
